We'll unpack and explore together the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga practice trough five different themes in order to build strong bases from the beginning. This is a 3-part series Ashtanga Workshop which will lead up to a sustainable and solid Ashtanga/power yoga practice. You can either combine morning pranayama with given dates workshop ( Package price 25€ ) or take each course separately! These workshop (except 5th of January ) is suitable for all levels and also suitable for beginners who want to have a strong base and a solid foundation in their practice. Starting with pranayama to balance your yin&yang channels and than further look into the techniques. This is also suitable for advance students who to want to deepen their practice and explore how much further they can go. Sunday 05/01Special New year Detox This special Ashtanag yoga intensive will begin with a Vinyasa Flow practice to warm the body… we’ll move into twisting poses to cleanse and purify the organs… finishing with restorative poses to relax the body and stretch the organs. The Ashtanga sequence and its combination is specifically designed to stimulate and purify the internal organs, increase respiration and circulation, improve digestion, and is an effective way to detoxify and renew the body. In addition to detoxifying our bodies through a Vinyasa practice, we’ll work to cleanse our mind, heart, and spirit through the use of pranayama technique – starting the season with a lightened heart and spirit. This class is appropriate for continuing beginners (those who have been practicing consistently for six months or longer), as well as intermediate, and advanced students. 9:30-12:00h 30€ Sunday 26/01 Primary Series refocus on the difficult poses In this workshop, we will focus on the challenging Asanas in the Ashtanga primary series which are the key postures for intermediate (Nadhi shodhana). We will break down each Asana, learn the modifications and adjustments leading up to the full pose. We will dissect poses that involve deep spinal twists, deep back bends, balancing poses, and hip opening poses Sunday 02/02 Inversions: the skill and techniques breakdown The magic of inversions! Aside from the physical strength, attempting inversions require mental strength. This is what we will learn to cultivate in this workshop. We will learn specific techniques and drills that you can incorporate into your daily practice so you can develop the confidence to get into a headstand on your own.

Ashtanga Mysore Style Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, flowing style that connects the movement of the body with the breath. The method stresses the importance of daily practice of a set series of movements. There are six series of Ashtanga yoga sequences, which the student progresses through at their own pace. The postures and the count in a led class ( Tuesday evenings) is traditionally in Sanskrit language! In our morning moving meditation class,each student is given their yoga routine according to their ability. Teacher have started the students on set series of Ashtanga yoga postures, breathing and gazing points. The teacher circulates quietly, (Unled class) giving individual adjustments and tailoring the series according to each individual's level and needs. Newer and beginner students tend to have a much shorter practice than do those with more experience. As one gains more knowledge about breath work, strength, stamina, flexibility and concentration, additional asanas are given to the student. Mysore mornings are suitable for everybody who wants to start introduce , discipline, structure and strength in daily life! If Complete beginners please contact the teacher in advance! During Lunar calendar the participants are advice to take a day off or replace the practice by meditation!

Pranayama, the formal practice of controlling the breath, lies at the heart of yoga. Cultivate and channel prana through a panoply of breathing exercises. If we can allow our physical body to get a bit lighter, we will breathe easier. Our life will feel more fulfilling and we will experience greater happiness when we are willing to surrender and let go of some of the weight that burdens our body and our mind. We can do that every day through meditation! We could all probably benefit from letting go a little bit more, so let’s get started!
