Yoga and me it´s like a love story. We met 7 yearsago and now love isevenstronger and the project of creating a familyisevengrowing. Creating a family for me is sharing my passion and the techniques i have learned in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga withyou on the mat of Let´s Yoga. I startedAshtanga Yoga 7 yearsago at the class of DaphneHertsens in Ixelles at a chaoticperiod of my life, personnally and professionally. ireadsomewherethatmaybe yoga could help me to take time for me, find back a balance and put someorder in my life. I was a bit sceptical but finallyitwas far more thanthis. I discovered an activity full of sense and not limited to a few exercices but with a real purpose to bringhigher spiritual kowledge and awareness and with real benefits on the mental stability and intellectualclarity. It was all i needed. Few yearslater, i had a burnout as a financialcontroller in a big company and yoga was the onlyactivity i couldmaintain, and moreover i feltbetterduring the practice, whichwasquitecrazy, wheneven standing up in the morningis an incredible challenge. I thentriedother techniques like Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and meditation. All these techniques beingcomplementary. Yoga had a real calming but energizingeffect on me and evenallowed me to have a better mental clarity after the class. At least i was more zen. It took me a while, whichwas normal in this situation, but after a periodwhere i started to practice one time a week, then 2 times, then 3 times and finally on a regular basis even at home, i finallywentthrough and started to think about a new professionnalcarreer. Yoga helped me and brought me somuchduringthisperiodthat the idea to sharemy passion and makeyoudiscoverthiswonderful technique came to mymindautomaticaly. Then i followed a yoga retreat of one month at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, where i gotspecialised in Sivananda yoga tachniques, and then i followd the Teachers Training Certification program of 200 hours in the Bindusar Yoga Center withSushilKhotari in Rishikesh, in the north of India. I amnowfullycertifiedHatha,Ashtanga, Pranayama and Yoga Nidrateacher and soexcited to sharewithyou all myknowledge and hope to meetyouhere on the mat at the studio Let´s Yoga verysoon. Meet me on the Ashtangabeginners class everytuesday lunch at 12:15 and Saturdays 10:30-12:00h.
