Isabella is an Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga practitioner. She decided to follow a 200 hour Ashtanga teacher training with Lucy Crawford Scott which she finished in April 2019. She did so to better her understanding of the origins of Ashtanga and enhance her own practice in a mindful yet determined way. Yoga can mean different things to different people. For Isabel, yoga has brought her not only fitness and body strength, but also a combination of calmness to the mind and a sense of happiness and self fulfilment. She has learned that with an open mind many things, including the seemingly impossible ‘bakasana’, can be achieved. Isabel truly believes that yoga is a journey that must be fun and injury free! She focuses her practice and her teachings on these two fundamental principles - bringing awareness to the breath and focus on alignment– remaining mindful of own body and where it might takes us.
