What is Vedas?
The Vedas literally meaning ‘knowledge’ are considered the source texts for Yoga, Vedānta, The Bhagavad Gīta and several other important practices and philosophies from India.
They are a vast collection of spiritual texts that originated in ancient India and contain prayers, hymns and ‘mantras’ that are in the form of mystical poetry in Vedic Sanskrit. These mantras are considered sacred without authorship as Ṛṣi-s or sages did not say that they composed them, rather that they were ‘heard’ in deep states of meditation.
What to expect of these classes?
Learn how to chant or listen to the powerful invocatory mantras of Gaṇeśa & Sarasvatī so we may be blessed with perseverance & wisdom through our learning and practice.
learn these mantras of -“Invocatory prayers” by reciting these mantras with teacher. cultivate peace with the sound of the most ancient language, Sanskrit
